Just got a new Buck 112 SLIM
Really liking the knife over all , only thing i wonder about is it is a little hard to open with the thumb stud , i guess they arent as loose as some modern thumb stud knifes, but was curious if you have one if its a little harder to open using your thumb than other styles , thanks

I don’t have one but I will assume it’s down to the fact that a lot of the other modern thumb stud knives don’t use a traditional back spring and are bearings or bushings as opposed to the Buck which is not that way.

I really like them and have a couple 112's and a 110.
Seems like the do get a little easier after a while or maybe I've just gotten used to opening them. I keep the joint well oiled.
