Cold steel carbon v

Post by mlangenberg54 »

Hello, this is my first post, so forgive any mistakes or posting in the wrong spot. I would like to learn a little more about this knife I just acquired. I have done some looking on here, and saw that the carbon v cold steel knives were possibly made by camillus. Is that the case? Any other information like date, model, and value would be appreciated. Thanks!

I understand Cold Steel contracted Camillus to make some knives for them, and they were marked with a Carbon V stamp. Apparently when Camillus closed their doors that was the end of the Carbon V knives. Most of them I’ve seen are fixed blades. Someone else more familiar with Camillus may know more. I doubt there’s much value - there’s not much demand. Rare or unusual does not equal high value.

Thanks for the welcome, and the information. Guess I will put it up on eBay and find out for sure what it’s worth.

It'll be interesting to see what it brings.
