I have a Case knife with tang stamp simply WR Case under this & under this Sons. Could anyone give me the years this tang stamp was used.

winst, look on the General Knife Related Forums, 2nd section down, Knife Related Q&A under tang stamps. You can see a 1905-1914 stamp as you described but it also has Bradford, PA on the lowest line, maybe hid under the bolster of your Case.

W.R. Case & Sons stamp was used approximately 1905-1915 according to most references. As with other eras there was more than one variation of the stamp used during that time. I know of no way to determine exactly when each variation was used. I think usually it depended on what stamp fit the blade it was used on, not the year it was used.
