Hi, all
Any wostenholm experts out there who can give me any info on this I XL pocket knife, please? I can't seem to find any reference or images of such a knife on the internet.
Thanks
I'm not an expert on Wostenholm brand info. I checked a few of my Wostenholm catalogs from the early 1900's and I didn't see this pattern shown. Can you say, are the handles aluminum? Also, I know if the back side of the blades say "Cutlers to HER majesty" or "Cutlers to HIS majesty" can help you narrow down an approximate age range.
Thanks Rookie.
The reverse of the blades is simply marked Sheffield, England. I would say the main body is aluminum. I did find a picture of a knife with a similar pattern, though no further info and it had a different selection of tools. I'm guessing 1940's 50's.
cheers.
