Large Henckels Marlin spike knife

Post by Rockingkj »

Just found today. j A Henckels knife. Anyone have one with intact blade? Interested to see what it would have looked like. And any history would be nice. Thanks.

The third knife from the left on this catalog page is very similar, with the exception of a sheepsfoot blade in place of the can opener. Clicking on the pic twice enlarges it enough to read the text.
This comes from page 90 pf "J.A. Henckels Knives", by Neal Punchard, Mason on this forum. Hope he doesn't mind me posting this.

Sorry, forgot to mention that the page is from a 1929 catalog
