Any idea who makes this knife
Hi,
My father passed recently and I inherited his knife collection and have no idea about this knife. This was the only one without a box or markings on the knife or sheath. It feels real solid and the blade is razor sharp. The sheath is also well built and form fitted to the knife.
Thanks.

Isn't there a Buck that looks like this, a Snody or something like that?

Did he work on knives at all? To me it looks like a diy kit knife. You get a blank, 2 scales and some hardware. Shape the scales yourself and assemble it.
That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend.

Without any markings, probably never going to know.

No, he wasn't a DIYer at all just more of a collector of a few different things and one of them being knives. He had over 100 knives in his collection going back to WW2 up to modern times. For some reason I just really like this one, can't wait to put it through its paces once the weather gets warm.ThatWeirdKnifeGuy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 11:38 pm Did he work on knives at all? Kind of figured it was a long shot. Was hoping maybe somebody had come across one before and knew who made and and maybe what type of steel it was.

Yeah buddy. It looks like a heavy duty user. The deep carry sheaths seem to be preferred by tradesman and guys who use their knives on a daily/hourly basis.Kksims99_ wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 3:31 amNo, he wasn't a DIYer at all just more of a collector of a few different things and one of them being knives.
