A Keen Kutter office knife was pleased to find it was in better than expected condition. Did not know it still had blade etch.

Picked up this one in unused condition for $20 from a local gunship today.
There were 3 new in the plastic scrimshaw Barlow's with different designs and boxes but passed on those. He was asking $40ea for those.

Possibly Bear?Jeepergeo wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 11:14 pm This came from Moore Maker. MM still sends out knives with hand-addressed mailers, which I appreciate.
This knife features Torched White Bone and a pocket clip. It has studs on both sides of the blade plus a spine flipper. Liner lock. Overall, the build quality is very nice.
I have no idea who built this for MM.

I noticed a new model called the "Rancher Sideliner" which appears to be almost identical--except for handle material. Could be the blade is different due to the MM version being 1095.

Rosecraft #3 for me!
The snap on these is perfect, the people over at Case should take note of this.

Rosecraft really has it going on. They have some beautiful knives.
I got in another addition to my A.G. Russell collection. Seki made, probably by Master Tak Fukuta. This one has smooth white bone handles and made in 1996. All my others are from 2002. Wish I knew how many different handle materials they used for these over the years? They used ATS-34 on some made in 2002 and not sure what the stainless steel is on the others? Probably AUS-8, that seemed to be a popular stainless used in Japan back then. I like this white one a lot, but I like all of them pretty well.

Looks like you like to work on knives then use your key board, we can probably C.S.I. your passwords just from the picture lol
Also, the retro vibe on those handles is dope.
That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend.

This little, short-line Camillus #40 showed up a few days ago. Well worn, great snap and the handles are perfect. And the interesting part could be that the little old knife and I could be the same age, it at least 74 years and could be 77 like me seeing that stamp is from '46-'50.
The knife and I are both worn down a bit but at least I don't have pinched bolsters.

Just got back from GEC. Picked up this little #14 stag knife. Got home, put it in the display, right beside the other one I forgot I had already!! Anybody want it give me a holler............... Just contacted Joan at GEC and she will exchange it for another choice! Glad I show my face in there a lot!

That's a fine-looking GEC knife, robpa! You liked so well you bought it twice.
I had another Pal Blade Co. show up. This one has full blades steel bolsters, steel shackle and steel liners. Snaps like the proverbial gator but has a small chip in the bone on the shackle end both sides.
A pleasant little knife anyhow even if it is a bit scruffy.

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Great pick-ups everyone!
Got these in the mail a couple days ago. Unfortunately, the seller's pictures did not show the back side of the blades where someone had written prices on them at some point with a sharpie (fortunately not the prices I paid). Also, had a back spring broken on the 5254D trapper that was not mentioned in the listing. I was obviously disappointed with these issues, but still like the knives and got them for a pretty good price.
Haven't had a chance to clean the blades up yet but will try a couple of options that will hopefully do the trick and I will likely send the trapper back to Case for repair under warranty. I have contacted the seller and will hopefully we can resolve these issues with a partial refund.
