Unfamiliar Maker

Post by foxfirerodandgun »

Can anyone enlighten me on this maker? This is one of several knives that came from a local locksmith's shop estate sale back in the late 1970's. Thanks.

They are known more for balisongs, i believe. I think they were even the first in Europe to be granted a patent for them in 1880. Operated in Solingen from 1935 to 1950. This from memory without my notes in front of me, so maybe don't quote me any where.

That's my Etsy store where I sell old knives and sometimes handmade knife accessories to support my knife habbit. Thanks for looking my friend. ::tu::
