Colt Damascus Fixed Blade
I am trying to find years of production, the manufacturer (the box end says Pakistan but who was the manufacturer,) and the original price for the below Colt Damascus knife. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm thinking 2010-2013 possibly. I have some Colts from that time period.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Thanks. Any idea of what they were selling for back then?

Not sure of the years or country of origin, but they seem to be of good quality. I have the bowie(massive 14 in.blade)and the damascus looks like large chunks of metal forge-welded together. Here are a couple pics.

I believe Smoky Mountain Knife Works had them made under license from colt.foxfirerodandgun wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2024 3:00 pm I am trying to find years of production, the manufacturer (the box end says Pakistan but who was the manufacturer,) and the original price for the below Colt Damascus knife. The fixed blades were made in Pakistan and the folders were made in China. When deal with Colt ended Smoky Mountain immediately began selling identical folders under the Rough Rider name. (Later called Rough Ryder)
At around the same time that SMKW stopped selling Pakistani Colts, they began selling pakistani Marbles fixed blades. You may be able to contact SMKW directly for better info, as I have on occasion, been told that I'm full of it!
PS, That's not a bad looking knife.

If I had to guess on a selling price back then, I would say $50 or less.
