Pocket Knife related podcast

Post by glennbad »

I'm not sure if this information was ever shared on this forum, but there is an entertaining pocketknife-related podcast available for your listening enjoyment.

Co-hosted by one of our very own members and accomplished author, Neal Punchard, it is called "The Catch Bit Show", and has been on-line since 2022. The main topics of discussion are custom knifemaking and knife history. I really enjoy all the the variety of topics discussed. And with some of the episodes, they include pictures and links, so there is an extra added bonus to the discussions.

Here is a link to it: https://thecatchbitshow.buzzsprout.com/

Oh yeah, if you really want a laugh, I was the latest guest on the show, so you can say you knew me before I was famous, LOL.

I really enjoyed the podcast!
I think you represented knife mechanics very well.
Knife and/or tool podcasts is normally not my thing, but I may checkout "catchbit show" again.
My oldest daughter and I hosted a podcast for 3 years, studying characters in "The Wheel of Time" book series. Very nerdy!

Episode 65 of The Catch Bit Show posted today https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t ... 0692162199

This is part 1 of a 2 part series. We talk a little about my past collecting and spend a good deal of time hearing about the story of the Remington Scout Heroism knife. A must listen for all Scout knife and Remington fans!

Hey Tom, you do a far better job than I did. I am listening to your episode currently, and have thoroughly entertained and informed.

While I never got seriously into scout knife collecting, I can see the draw to it.

Well done!

Great shows with Glenn and Tom!!! And Eric Albers was on as well with some interesting stories of Canal Street Cutlery along with his own knife making adventures. "The Catch Bit Show" podcast is free to listen to and has no ads or revenue, strictly a labor of love to help promote the knife hobby. Interestingly, it is listened to by people from over 20 countries from around the world.
