Thank you, ~Q~.🍻
Coley enclosed a little note along with the pocket knife.
It was actually his idea for me to use it as a "filler" pocket knife.
I must give credit where credit is due.

Skip (New_Windsor_Ny)returned fire on me, and I found this in the mailbox today. It’s a like new 1976 American Bi-centennial/Camillus 100 year anniversary key fob. It will make a great addition to my cutlery collection.

Great "Bombs" everyone!

Here is an unexpected and much appreciated Otter-Messer Solingen Germany Wharncliffe "Bomb" I found in my mailbox yesterday, from someone who clearly understands (and is somewhat responsible for  ) my Wharncliffe Addiction. A big Mahalo to "Q" (aka QTCut5) for this fine knife that will make a great addition to my ever-expanding Wharncliffe sub-collection. ::handshake::

It should be noted that the Otter Wharnie was actually a retaliatory strike I had to drop on Kevin (knifeaddict1965) after he hit me first with these two plush Spyderco "taco" storage cases. Now two of my Spydercos will have a nice protective home. Very kind and very generous of you, my friend...and very much appreciated. ::handshake::

My friend Tony/Corn Creek Cutlery bombed this beautiful Rosecraft Castorea to me, and it arrived late yesterday.
This beauty is 8 1/4" opened and features a big fat D2 spear-point blade with a swedge and extended flipper tab, black/grey split G-10 covers with a shield, SS liners, button-lock blade release, brass lanyard tube, and a reversible clip.
It has a decent weight of about 4 oz.'s and arrived factory sharpened.
It walks open silky-smooth via the flipper and the button-lock release is equally easy to operate, although, I did apply my traditional drop of Quick Release oil to the pivot like I do with all my new knives, but it came to me so smooth it's hard to tell if the oil improved it's performance.
The fit and finish is perfect and professional.
It won't surprise me if these Rosecraft knives find a place for themselves in today's market, much like Rough Rider, Brothers, and others have done, they seem to be well made solid knives, and I think you'd agree if you handled and scrutinized any of the available models.
Much thanks, Tony, you're the best! ::handshake::

It sure seems I have a bunch of great friends here at AAPK, cuz I keep getting bombed with beautiful knives by you guys!

This latest arrived yesterday from my pal Kerry/toomanyknives, and it just so happens to be a knife I've been following for awhile waiting for the blade configuration I like. After some research I discovered that this knife only comes with a clip-point blade if it was made by Queen, and a sheepsfoot blade if it's made by Cooper, and as you know I'm not a fan of clip-points UNLESS I have to choose between Queen and Cooper models, and mine was made by Queen. As-a-matter-of-fact, it's called a "Queen Steel #45 Big Chief"!

While researching my new knife I found that not only do 2 companies make these, but the blade etch is different from style to style.
Mine reads "Queen Steel #45", whereas others read "Queen Cutlery #45", "Queen #45M/440 Stainless", "Queen #45LL" (linerlock), "Queen #45EO" (easy open) , and a bunch of others.

It's 9" open with a SS clip-point blade, all aluminum body, and strong slip-joint action with a half-stop.
Not bad weight of about 4 oz.'s and deadly sharp.
The walk and talk are very firm coming in at about 8.
Kerry must have bought it brand new cuz that's the fit and finish.

As much as I'm not crazy about clip-points, I'd much rather have this model than the sheepsfoot model, cuz the sheepsfoot blade looks almost like a blade one would see on a Fleam knife, IMO.

Thanks Kerry, you da man! ::handshake::

Congratulations Mark!! That is a fine knife. Mine has Queen #45 / 440 Stainless on the blade and PAT. NO. 2728139 on the tang. From your research, did you find that these different markings were for different mfg dates? And a fine expression of generosity Kerry! ::tu::
