Mommoth Tooth Handles - Maintenance?

Can I get some recommendations on how to take care of mammoth tooth knife handles? This is a user knife (light use during camp outs) and I want to keep it in good shape and shiny between uses.

a little paste wax and don't drop it and it'll be good as long as you're alive.

Is Renaissance wax a paste wax? I've read a lot of good things about it on this forum, but not a lot of details on exactly what it is used for.

REN-Wax will do good

Yes, Ren-wax is good. Make sure to use a very light coat and avoid filling cracks if there are any. Thick residues of Ren-wax can be difficult to remove and very difficult to remove once it gets into a small crack. Use light coats and it is excellent.

I also have a wood handled knife, actually 3,000 year old bog oak. I assume Ren-wax is good for that also? Seems like you can even use it on blades and bolsters.
