Any info on ATOR Solingen brand

Looking for any info i can get on this one. Front tang stamp reads ATOR Solingen, back stamp reads Made in Germany. I can't seem to find any reference to it at all. Very well built knife with excellent fit and finish. Thanks for any help.

I could be wrong, but this is possiby made by C. Friedrich Ern.

i just picked up a little tiny ator germany 1923 pocket knife, and have found this is there anything new about the brand?

Rick, if you post a picture of your knife, blades open and a picture of the markings you are more likely to get a meaningful reply.

Thanks Scott but i was responding to the post made Nov. 1 2019, that is just above my post. New member asking about a knife needs to know that we always need pictures to be able to answer properly, not just guess.

According to the excellent German reference book by J. Anthony Carter & friends, titled GERMAN KNIFE AND SWORD MAKERS:

Carl Friedrich Ern company in Solingen first registered the ATOR trademark in 1903. They were still using the trademark at least as late as 1922, as evidenced from a catalog dated that year. Carl Friedrich Ern (1850-1924) was the son of blade polisher Nathaniel Ern (1822-1874).
The company continued to exist until 1986, but the ATOR trademark had fallen out of use by 1940.

Hopefully this helps, I highly recommend CARTER's book if you have an interest in Solingen - made knives!

I was wondering about some more Information on The ATOR folding pocket knife style number on other side of main blade says 367 and it says Germany under the ATOR name. The shield is rubbed smooth looks likes brass Liners. I saw early this stamp was used from 1903 to 1922. Any further descriptions or info?
