Vintage custom made lockback folder! Bone or Ivory?

Just picked up this "big daddy" today. It measures 6 1/4 inches closed. Blade is 4 3/4 in..Very well built knife with what I believe are smooth bone handles but they compare to some pics of ivory handles I have seen in some knife referance books. This baby is built SOLID! The locking mechanism is the best of any knife I have ever seen. I have never bought a knife with no stampings etc. but I couldnt pass this one up. The antique dealer I purchased this from (who I have dealt with for many years and has always proven to be very honest) said he purchased this back in the 60's and said he thought it was a remake of an old civil war style knife but wasnt sure. bone ... and it looks like a fightn rooster display knife i have seen.
im not saying thats what it is at all.just the closest thing i have seen that resembles it.

looks alot like the parker repro, it's markings were just e tched so they could have asily been rubbed off at some point.

Thanks for the response to everyone who did so. I have searched and searched and spoke to several people about this knife. I found an "exact" pattern printed in one of the front pages of one of my knife reference books. It shows different styles of pocket knives and patterns and this one shows as being an "English lockback". Some of you I am sure already knew this. I was also told this was a folding bowie knife so I searched EBAY for "folding Bowie" and the closest thing to this particular knife is what Mr. Muskrat mentioned which was a Parker. The handles look very similar but the locking mechanism and the bolsters are different. I still havent convinced myself that this is not a handmade knife but I am starting to question it.
I was also given an excellent idea which I might follow up with. How about having a damascus blade put on it? I think that would fit this big boy perfectly. I mean this thing has so much steel in it you could use it as a club. Anyway thats something down the road once I narrow it down a little further of the exact maker (if ever). Thanks again!
