The 1st one

Post by Timstools »

Arrived yesterday.
This is the very first Aurum Etchings knife, done by hand just before Aurum became officially Aurum, only one.

That's just incredible Tim! I've missed you Aurum posts. This one really takes the cake, I can't believe the depth of that etch! It must be quite an honor to have number one ::tu:: ::tu::

I guess every knife manafacturer or custom maker in history must have had a first knife, I wonder if most are just lost to antiquity, luckily Sam kept this one with him for many years. Its nice to have it here.

Great stuff Tim. Thanks for showing your gorgeous knives.

I find it really fascinating that you are able to locate as many of those knives as you do from where you are located on the planet.

Thanks again,

Thanks Again all
I've missed you Aurum posts
Yes id like to post photos of more Aurum knives but I havent purchased too many more for some time now, they are not all that common even on ebay there is usually only less than a handful selling from week to week. There are a few that appear often but the others are quite rare. Im pretty sure prices will go up, they are unique & limited, a nice collectable.
