No, not at all. I'm not one to pay attention to values, but you'd end up paying more for each one of them than you paid total (though, I'm guessing shipping and buyer's premiums were in that too).

Awesome pair! Mine are both '70s era, but the same patterns. I inherited the Eisenhower from my Granddad, and I got the 5233 from Bladebuddy during this past POS Exchange.
Thank you Cody.... ::tu::

David, you got a couple of Stags there - so I think you got a great deal!

Nice couple of knives there, Cody! I like those sleek black handles!

I found a Camillus USA Cuda Quick Action for $24 in the store here, and immediately pounced on it; as I've been wanting one for years, but was priced out of the market. It must have not been listed long ago, as it wasn't up before lunch.

According to a 2003 catalog, this is a Cuda Quik-Action Jr. (just over 4" closed compared to the full-size at 5") Spear-point. ATS-34 blade and G-10 handles.

Aside from the simple Medium Sierra lockbacks (which I like for around the house--plus, they can still be had new for MSRP), I think this is the first "tactical" Camillus that I've got. This one operates similarly to an automatic--slide the button forward, and it opens. Since it's beat up, it will become an EDC. I'm sure this thing will be a dream in the cold weather with my gloves on.

Will need to get more Tuf-Glide. I've found that most of my newer folders (CRKT IKBS knives especially) just gum up when I use 3-in-1, but Tuf-Glide allows them to become pretty smooth. Having to go over my late grandfather's collection and forgetting to put the cap back on a few times made it go much faster than expected.

I won this at an online auction today, should have it next week. Does anyone have any info on it or the company? Internet didn't give me much. Looks like a good sturdy bowie, but will know when I get it in hand. 10" blade / 15" overall. Many thanks for any info!

The small text says "Windlass Swords Made in India"--they make a lot of repro stuff for reenactors and such. It was discontinued some years back and was about $150 new.

The website says it's a reproduction of an 1880 Bowie Knife based on those made in England for export to the US. I do know if "Imperial Sword Co." of London was an actual firm; or simply something they made up--since most of the trademarks to the most venerable Sheffield cutlers are still active.

Thanks cody for that info! That helps tremendously. I thought I had it at $40, but ended up giving $80 ... someone else wanted it too. Be the first India made for me.

This knife is a Herbertz that I bought online one, because I have never bought that brand and two, it looks to be a very good EDC type knife. Before I go digging for info on the company does anyone have a little info they can share.

I just bought my first knife of 2024.

I wanted the bug green but it wasn't available in the blade options I wanted, so I settled for the last purple. Very ingenious design and looks to be reliable and durable.

This ain't yo pappy's OTF!

I just ordered this from Moore Maker and hope to gave it in my pocket by Saturday.

Torched Bone, with pocket clip. I have no idea who builds it for Moore Maker. I've been pretty happy with the knives I received from them.

Hi John,

If they are really really valuable, then yes & it's for sale. ::nod::

I don't really know what the W.W. stands for. I did a net search that lead me nowhere. I did ask the seller about the length & he just said "about" 9cm. Don't know if that is with or without the bail so I'm anxious to get my hands on it & check it out. I got it for €10.50 shipped so I guess I did okayish. I liked the looks of it & I like bails in general. I've never heard of Wright & Wilhelmy. ::shrug:: Timeframe maybe? ::shrug::

Regarding your Herbertz knife, David, about all I can tell you is I own a couple and I'm more than pleased with them. They are currently buried at the bottom of my collection boxes, but if I come across any I have immediate access to I will post pictures.
I think you'll be happy with your purchase!

Well that Herbertz knife didn't show up. When I pulled up the full tracking this is what I got.
A German knife coming from New Zealand and it still won't get here until Friday.

Well, at least it's still on the way, David, it's when the tracking doesn't update for a long time that it's time to worry.

I'm not certain about this, but the knife you have coming might be a model where the closed blade extends past the butt-end, although, it doesn't have an extending protector bar like you see on some of the Russian Prison knives.

It'll be interesting to see which model it actually is!

The tracking now shows it not 35 miles away from me in the Fort Worth USPS Distribution Center, however there is no
expected delivery date. The tracking number (below) is the one used coming from New Zealand.
