Found this large-ish Henckels folder at a gun show a few years back. 3 7/8” blade, 8 1/2” open. Fits the profile of the enigmatic German “soldiers” knife, but would love to hear if anyone has run across a similar example. Tang stamp appears to be early 1900s?? Any info would be great! Thanks!

Hello All,
Found this large-ish Henckels folder at a gun show a few years back. 3 7/8” blade, 8 1/2” open. Fits the profile of the enigmatic German “soldiers” knife, but would love to hear if anyone has run across a similar example. Tang stamp appears to be early 1900s?? Any info would be great! Thanks!

A very interesting find. Obviously quite old. Today's Henckels folders typically average about 3 1/2 " closed.
