tang stamp help
Have this knife in collection was wondering if any of you have ever seen this stamp? its a very nice knife but I plan to sell it so any information would be greatly appreciated

Pearl,, That is an Ichthys, and no points off for spelling. It was a symbol used by early Christians when it was not safe to be known as a Christian. Not sure is is, with the tail closed like that. I never really paid attention but now looking at it, the knife marking has a closed tail, where Christian Ichthys , from what I am noticing, are open tail. I havent seen a google image yet of a closed tail. Just a curiosity to see if we can make more of this than need be. I think that's a 6 or a 9 just below the symbol.

Ty for the help I will look up Clyde see what I see. I am Christian and knew Ichthys but hadnt found a maker or any knives of that brand
