Kim, you lucky duck. Both are great knives but I think I like the Anvil best. Kudos 1967redrider. That's an excellent bomb.

My wife ordered a knife for me for Christmas from Kennedyknives. When it was opened it not only contained a wonderful old Alfred Williams United States Navy knife but also this fabulous old Kutmaster rope knife. Must be older as it has steel liners. Thanks Gary.

Recieved a package from Mom on Sat. with some Pop-Tarts & some Pocket-Knives! ::ds:: ::groove::
Two of the three knives she sent to me were gifts from other AAPK members so I'd like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the Reverand & Jeff from SLK from the most wonderful gifts! ::not_worthy:: ::handshake:: :D I reeeealy appreciate your generousity friends! ::handshake:: What a great group of members we have here! ::nod:: ::tu::

So first off I'll show you this 1972 Slimline Trapper the Reverand sent to me to help me work on a " Case Family Collection". Which is a set of knives in the birth years of each member of my family. 1972, 1975, 2001, 2003 & 2007. My goal is to some day have three "Family Sets" so I can give one set of knives to each of my three children.

I already had a 1975 Case Barlow so together with this 1972 Slimline Trapper I have a great foundation for my second "Family Set". This knife is in a great used condition and will join my EDC rotation untill I get my set completed. Then I will put the set of 5 knives in my little showcase for safe keeping. ::nod::
Thanks Reverand! ::handshake:: ::tu:: :D

And secondly I'll show you the two knives that I got from Jeff at Second Life Knives or SLK. I bought a beautiful little 1080T Junior Stockman with smooth green bone handles. I'll call em Granny Smith handles.

And to my pleasant surprise it showed up with a friend. I can't seem to make out the model # but I believe it says 710. If anyone knows what the # is & if these were called Pen Knives or Jack Knives I'd appreciate the Info. ::nod::

Both of these knives are in great used condition and will join my EDC rotation. Now I have a nice Granny Smith Green knife for St. Patrick's Day. ::super_happy::

Thank you Jeff for the very cool gift! I love the shield on it & the long pull! I appreciate it Buddy! ::nod:: ::handshake:: ::super_happy::

Yesterday afternoon, my trip to the post office produced this item. It was completely unexpected, but VERY much appreciated. It is a hand carved and decorated, CAMILLUS, Jack Of Hearts, pocket knife. ::tu:: ::tu::
It measures 3 1/8" closed. The main blade front tang "stamp" (double line) says, "CAMILLUS (over) New York (over) U.S.A." The main blade back tang "stamp" has Coley's initials and the year. The blade has a good half stop, along with a good opening and closing snap. It will make a good filler until I obtain a CAMILLUS tang stamped, Jack Of Hearts, pocket knife.
***** A VERY special THANK YOU goes out to Coley (C-WADE7) for this thoughtful and most generous gift.::handshake:: *****
Caption(s), if any, are on the BOTTOM of the corresponding picture(s).

Glad you liked it Skip. I’ve been messing around with paint sticks patterning pocket knives I have and replicating them to give away. I used my Queen of Hearts Camillus as the pattern for this and it came out close enough, I figured you may like a place holder for the elusive Jack in Camillus.

Indeed I do, Coley. In fact, it is in the spot that is
reserved for that elusive CAMILLUS, Jack Of Hearts.
Happy New Year to you and yours.

I must admit that's a pretty cool idea to have a temporary filler until the spot in a collection can be filled with the real McCoy. 8)
Conceivably, the "filler knives" could even become collectibles themselves. ::idea::

Nice work on the facsimile, C-WADE7 ::tu::
