Camillus 179 Stockman
Mint in box knife that’s a an interesting Camillus knife. Came with the little sharpening “steel” great company and a USA Co we all miss.

By the way, #179 was produced in two versions - with a line on the bolster (early) and without a line (late).

Well I have 3 of em and they are box identically. So maybe more than one way to package a knife?

Re: Camillus 179 Stockman
Hey Vit, great to see your post here . And thanks for the info regarding the 2 different #179 s . Wasn’t aware of that . Have the early one in original box now have an excuse to look for the later version . Noticed the colors of the insert are blue and white ,not red white and blue like the earlier versions.
Thanks for all you’ve done to help us Camillus / knife collectors over the years . Your knowledge and willingness to share and help is Greatly appreciated!
