I dont sell knives, but I have given alot to friends and family and coworkers. I gave my brother a yellow Case fish knife that he promptly lost. Wish I would have given him a RR. Some people dont have knife appreciation like we have.

I wouldn’t say that I shouldn’t have sold a Benchmade 960 Red like this one but I do wish I would have kept it.

Same deal for me. I gave my brother a NIB Benchmade Pardue 530 which he soon lost.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Been my experience that when you spend pretty decent about of $ for a knife it’s less likely to be lost. Speaking as a former ranch hand that left a $75 Puma folder on the truck bumper after filling cattle dusters in the Sandhills in the 1980’s. Walked the trail about a half mile to find it. It it had not cost me those hard earned $ probably would not have bothered. I think he was going to a motocross race in Indy and forgot it was in his pocket. He was with a group and didn't want to return to the hotel, so . . .

.....so you're saying that knives aren't allowed and will be confiscated at Motocross, John?.....
Sounds just like my buddies at Customs.

A red micarta Case XX thrower, a Colonial Pilot's knife, a German farmer's knife, a mint Mountain Division knife, a mint, Catt 225-Q, a genuine Samuel Wragg, Sheffield, folding dirk, and many, many more. I did however acquire others that I really wanted in those deals. Selling stuff always leaves me with a hollow feeling.

Sooo many knives...too many to list, precious few of which I was able to replace; most of which I could not and are gone forever.
Not too long ago I sold this Schatt & Morgan #01 Wharncliffe Swayback with the most amazing Ram Horn handle I've ever seen. Fortunately, I was able to get this one back in a swap with the buyer
(Thanks Kevin!

98src!
You may wish to contact Roy S who is a member here and can usually be found browsing or posting pictures in the Switchblade Collector's Forum, because he has made his living buying and selling many brands of F + S knives, and even has a link to his website at the bottom-left of every page he posts in, www.fsknife.com . It's safe.
Perhaps he has one or more of the knives you sold and you could reacquire it/them.
Good luck!

Mahalo Marco
Not so lucky with these, however, which I shall regret selling until the day I die
The white bone Scagel Fruitport is probably the one knife I regret selling the most

Re: How about a knife I never should have sold thread?
Yep, I certainly see where it would hurt to no longer be the owner of some if those great knives, ~Q~, especially the Scagal Fruitport, ouch.
I've always thought those folding fixed blade hunters were super-cool, just the kind of unusual knife I'm attracted to and likely quite rare, too bad that one didn't make the cut either.
I have to move on, I'm getting depressed!
HNY!
