Nice picture! I love it when old knives are selected for inclusion in these threads. I think I only own one Wolfertz in ebony, your bone handled is very attractive!

Thank you! I really like this knife, also. I have 3 other Wolfertz knives, and all are either ebony or cocobolo.

Love the knife and the picture. The setting you made really makes the picture interesting.

Wow, you'll need a big corral for that herd, Charlie, but it sure will be interesting thinking about each knife's history and perhaps future while you're building it.
What a great haul!

What a fine trio you're showing us today, Joe!
I've been following that Boker for awhile, and after now seeing their real-life pictures I'm that much closer to buying a couple. I was originally attracted to the brass and/or satin models, but after seeing your black version that attraction is changing. Looks like a great little knife for a great price. ::tu::
What's that little beauty at the bottom with the pistol-grip and looks like a derringer? ::shrug:: Thx!

The Boker I opted for is the clip point (obviously) with the backlock. The spear points that are slipjoints didn’t strike my fancy. I got it from the cutlery shoppe in Idaho for an excellent price.
The saddlehorn is by Vincenzo Balistreri in Rome. It’s a full 4” closed and the quality exceeds anything I’ve ever handled and that includes some well known names. The design was tweaked by Steve McNatt which Vincenzo worked his magic on. He truly is The Maestro.

Thank you, Joe.
I'd actually overlooked that your Boker is a clip-point/backlock, but now that you pointed this out I'd definitely go for the spear-point/slip-joint models that I liked originally regardless of cover material, but I get your point and respect your choice.
The V. Balistreri is of much higher quality than I'd given it credit for originally, but that does explain the attraction, it's a special knife lucky you, and at 4" closed I guess it's not so "little" after-all!

Your picture did come out very well, O-B, and what a beautiful dagger it had as it's model!
I recently bought a similar dagger, although it's pretty "plain-jane" compared to yours, no engraving, no playing card theme etc., but it does have beautiful MOP handles and is profiled very close to yours.

::welcome:: to AAPK, ::handshake:: and please, show us what else you have!
