Bear Bench
I had a guy I know make this for me to set at our local fair. It's in memory of my daughter who we lost 12/ 15/ 06. When I saw this thread I just had to post it. The stumps he used are just awesome. It's setting at the Dayton Fair in Dayton Pa.
Brandy tried for the fair Queen in 2002 and got runner up in 2003 she got fair Queen. She loved being in shows and pagents and she was good at them. Ed

That's a nice bench and a good memorial, logman. If you don't mind me asking, what were the circumstances of your daughters passing?

Re: Bear Bench
TM, She had a kidney disease called M.P.G.N. we found out about that when she was 11. medication and check ups took care of it for awhile. when she was about 18 she had to start on dialias, got a new kidney when she was 20 but it didn't take and they had to take it back out, back on dialias. When she was 23 her heart just couldn't take it any more. She had a rough life, it's rough to have to go thru dialias, it takes a lot out of you. No child should have to go thru that. But you deal with what God gives you. Life isn't always fair. But she lived her life her way! She loved being the fair Queen and we thought the bench would be something she would like Thanks for asking. Ed

Thanks for sharing the story, Ed. Sorry to hear about your loss. That's great she was the fair queen and got to do something she loved. The bench is really thoughtful and well done. Take care.

Re: Bear Bench
Ed that is a wonderful way to share the memory of your daughter with others. Those bears show a lot of creativity and craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing them with us here and for sharing the story of your daughter. May God bless you and your family.
