On a less pretty note, but one I really love, had this Voos out today and was reminded what a good one it is, with the kind of snap and action, and bones that I love. And tried to catch the blues and flashing colors in the patina that I love.

That's an all-round beautiful knife, Iman, and it's patina really caught my eye, it almost looks like some sort of emblem is forming underneath!

Funny thing about patina, any non-knife guy looks at it and says, "Yuck, that knife is all dirty, where's the shiny", whereas we look and say "Beautiful, absolutely beautiful"! I like our view better!

Awesome patina I-Man!!! .... .... Maybe it's the fumes from the paint thinner getting to me today in the closed-up garage ... or am I seeing a rabbit scratching the back of its ear in the patina on the main blade? If so.... How the He!! did you do that?

Aahhhhhhhh, that is a beauty of a shot. Never would have thought of putting a bunch in a box with no blades open and still look great. Fabulous pic, such sweet bones even with no blades out. Calendar shot for sure bud. A+

Amen and spot on. Lots of folks don't get it at all. That's one of the things I love about carbon steel. Kind of like a semi-secret club or a hidden jewel in plain sight that some can't see and don't understand. And one thing I love around here. We get it and appreciate such things a lot of people miss. I-Man you are a true master of the patina!!! .... I am just an average guy with a few beat and rusty old pocketknives.... but after about 5 or 6 of these beers ... I was able to see that rascally rabbit ... real clear like....

Beautiful knife, Iman! You know, Case has a Crimson Peach Seed Jig handle that looks almost identical to that. It’s a gorgeous color, for sure!
