Your wife could probably do a brisk business making and selling those little drawstring bags!

Here is an old one that has been to battle a few times. It gives me great comfort to hold it, open and close the blades, and wonder about the past life of this Walden.
Thanks Ike! She is a jewelry maker, but she can do just about anything that she sets her mind to.

That is a super old knife you have there. Pretty rare too! ::tu::

Maybe I will consider doing that when Canada reimburses me for what is probably at least $50 if not more in my life time of getting CANUCK coins as change within the U.S. and the banks reject them every time when I try to cash them in?
That's a pretty lame excuse to use as a rebuttal to defend yourself for being so far off topic, girl, pretty lame.
Jeez, send me your address, I'll send you at least 50 bones if not more. ::shrug::

The answer to your question is just NO. ::td::
That figures. ::tu::

We seriously need to tighten up both borders.
Absolutely splendid idea, spend all that money, time, and effort just to ensure you don't get anymore vile CDN change in your kitty, or Mexicans, go for it! ::facepalm::

You certainly seem to dislike Chinese and Canadian people, is there ANY Nationality that lives up to your standards? ::shrug::
Or, you could simply say "whoops", get back on topic and stop being so sensitive! ::nod::

Marco, I like when I get some Canadian money. I collect it with the rest of my coin collection. I'll take any that y'all don't want! Oh, and here's a comfort knife to go with my request for your Canadian money.. It's an old Case Canoe that just feels good in the hand.. IMG_1517 (2).JPG
I read recently, Kerry, that the CDN mint here in Winnipeg where I live, is minting a $50.00/9999 1 oz. gold coin soon.
I'd love to carry one around in my pocket with me and always have $50. available for emergencies, but for $2,100.+ I can live without it.

If you actually do collect CDN and other countries change, be sure to check out the changes they made to our $2.00 Toonie, I believe they switched out the copper for steel, or perhaps it's vise-versa.

I recently received a 1-blade Parker canoe that looks very much like your gorgeous Case, so I know what you mean about it feeling good in your hand.
Great knife, buddy!

Your Walden is a lovely old knife, Ike, and in such good shape after her many battles.
And just like Kerry said, you hit the Trifecta with your 3 below it, absolutely beautiful knives.

Your Henckels, Dog, rounds out a fine displaying of some teriffic knives, even with all those blades.
Something about the white covers just makes it pop.

Thanks brother! When I say that I "collect" coins, I pretty much mean that I keep them when I find them. I don't really seek them out often, but I did see the Toonie. Pretty cool!

Thanks M&M ::handshake:: ... although after a few shots of C.R.🥃🥃🥃 ... I had visions of snaping off the extra blades and making it more C.K.T. compatible ::skeptic:: ... Then I sobered up a bit and came to my senses! ::cb:: ::doh:: ::facepalm::

However.... ::paranoid:: I won't be sober for long!!! ::paranoid::

Here is my latest C.K. from B&S. made in the USA and very useful to a guy that loves Beer!!! Especially a guy that love Beer from all kinds of brewers and from all over the world ::nod:: The smooth amber bone gives me a lot of comfort rubbing my fingers across it and the bottle opener popping off top after top of ice cold Molsons 🍺🍺🍺🍻

Some folks hate B&S ... but this one is awesome in fit and finish ... look at the backside picture and the clean lines on the bottom of the knife. I am very happy with it at a reasonable price and good quality. ::hmm:: And lots of beer bottle caps to pop down the road! 🍺🍺🍺

I handled one of those this week. I wound up not buying it, but only because I don't really need a bottle opener.

In some of my posts
I have casually mentioned
The fact that I like to drink beer 🍺
This little post is more to the point ::hmm:: ...

Roll out the barrel and lend me your ears
I like beer 🍺🍺🍺
It makes me a jolly good fellow
I like beer
It helps me unwind
And sometimes it makes me feel mellow
Whiskey's too rough 🥃
Champagne costs too much 💵💰💰
Vodka puts my mouth in gear 🤮🤢
This little refrain
Should help me explain
As a matter of fact I like beer...🍺🍺🍺

M&M, what was the final selling point was the (laser? ::shrug:: ) engraved bolster with the beer tap on it... after seeing that I said "Now, that's a COMFORT KNIFE! ... ::paranoid:: and I have to have it" ::woot::

Dog!

I'm going to assume that the beer tap engraving you speak of is that symbol on the front bolster that I can't make out what it is, yes? ::shrug::

What's more, if that didn't confuse me enough, looking for a "laser" on the knife did!

But, after all that it's still a cool little carry! ::groove::

Marco, it's called "A laser" * The laser is commonly used engrave words or images onto the metal surface of the blade of the knife or in this case on the bolster (an image of a beer tap, most likely used for Molson or Labatt). The knife does not actually come with its own laser emitting device.

* A laser is a device that emits light through a process of optical amplification based on the stimulated emission of electromagnetic radiation. The word laser is an anacronym that originated as an acronym for light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation.

No posts in this thread for a couple weeks, but that changes now!
I have this 5-pack to show you guys, and each one is the true definition of a "Comfort" knife, cuz they're not good for too much else, other than to look nice!

Thanks, Dog, and me too, even if it's not a true Albacete. ::hmm::
I say that due to the faux fulcrum-release lever, whereas a real one would require the operator to lift a genuine lever from atop the spine in order to collapse the blade for closing. ::nod::
I have a couple of other J J Martinez Spanish style folders that I really like, and this one looks as good as those so I bought it. ::shrug::
