What would you pay for this collection? 1974. Never out of the case. That's the best picture I have at this time.

Somewhat depends on what you want it for. If the intent is to break it up and re-sell the individual pieces, I’d say $1600 - $2000. If you’re a collector and plan to keep it intact $2000 - $2500. JMO (That’s not an offer.)

Rationale is $250 - $350 for the display case and average of $50 - $75 per knife. Low end being the “picker/reseller” value. Then just do the math from there.

When you say 1974....are these 6 dot or could some be 10 dot?
Also, are there any rust spots, fading, or handle marks from the elastic bands.
If that is all in mint condition and if it would happen to be a 10 dot set, it would be a highly desirable collection.

The items in those displays are held on the board by wire, not elastic bands. I have occasionally seen marks on knives that resulted from the wire (and time) but that’s rare and you have to look hard to see it.
