Knife Identification Assist

Hey everyone,

Does anyone recognize this knife or the markings on it? I've tried searching and I cannot find anything related to the M or the CH. I'm not sure if these are manufacturers markings, or just initials are engravings. I've had good luck getting knives identified on here before, so any help would be appreciate it

Hey.....

Still working on it. Besides being a knife, I think it's a bayonet also. I don't think the one stamp says CH.
I think it says C 11. It might even be C II, like a Roman numeral?

I don’t think it’s a bayonet;I never saw a bayonet that didn’t have a muzzle ring in the crosspiece. Or one with a curved hilt. It’s interesting for sure.

Thanks for the replies. I have tried researching based on CH and CII. There is a chef that makes CII knives, but this doesn't appear to be anywhere near what they make. I also couldn't decide if the other letter was an M or a different marking altogether.

Muela has been making big Bowies since 1950, any chance that's what the "M" stands for?

Could be, but what I've found from Muela is they seem to mark their knives with Muela on it. I'll dig into it though.

I also forgot to respond- I think you are correct regarding CH. For some reason I was connecting the lines. I am wondering if it says C 11

The reason that I thought the knife was a bayonet is, if you look at the pictures,
I mistook the sheath strap and snap as part of the knife.

Looks hand-made with the Phillips head screws holding the handles.
The letters CH on a European country of origin vehicle ID plate denote Switzerland.
The short-leg on the M could indicate a maker whose last name begins with M and is a partial amputee. Reminds me of knifemaker W.T.Fuller. Look him up.
