The Wharncliffe addiction is a toughie. I try to resist but it keeps sucking me in, making me backslide, rationalize, make excuses, breaks my vows, my will, my self respect. Strains the marriage, the family bliss, bank account. Still I can't resist. Thought I might just rehandle this one in stag, have a one of a kind. But the unicorn ivory is much better looking than I thought it would be. Quite taken with it.

I'm not a fan of wharncliffe blades, but those handles are awesome.

Thanks. We gotta do something about that to convert you over to the Wharn side. One of my fave blade profiles, like a utility knife blade it's so handy, pierces like nothing else and box cutter superior. Lord Wharncliffe knew what he was doing when he commissioned the blade shape and design. Thanks again.

Nothing quite compares to the feeling of getting a new GEC; a feeling I haven't had for quite some time myself but still experience to a lesser degree vicariously when you get one, Ivoryman. Thanks for that. :D

I never gave much notice to OD Green Micarta before seeing all yours, now I find myself quite attracted to it. It looks fantastic on that #13 Clerk which will fit in beautifully with all your other ODGM knives.

Ah, thanks bud, so nice of you to mention. I feel the same, great to see others with a new GEC, and of course I lust after most of their knives. So its like a big score when one shows up here. And Must confess I echo everything you said about OD green. Used to leave me unmoved. Now if I see something in it I'm fixated. Cant look away, cant get enough, mind starts racing around how to get one. I love the stuff now: the look, the feel, the texture, the grip, the understated and classy rugged appearance. And absolutely love how the grip improves if it gets wet, which happens regularly when cutting what I cut. Thanks again, didnt mean to drone on. But I could go on, there is a lot to love in this one, like the nice wharn and pen compliment. ::handshake::

Thanks again bud, nice to hear that, appreciate the compliments, especially on the photos, as much or more than the knives.
