Western 742 Stockman with Smooth Dark Brown Bone

I had two of these on the bench, a 742 and a 742d. This is the 742 with smooth dark brown bone handles. I’m not sure what the “d” designation is for, it seem like the knives are very similar. The 742d has polished blades but otherwise looks like the same knife.
The bone color on this one is really nice.
