A couple of little beauties there, RR!1967redrider wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2023 1:00 pm Today's Jack is from 1980's 75th Anniversary series. I only have a couple knives from this series. This is not the best example in my opinion, due to the stag color.

I recently spoke with someone who had just bought an AKC F-16, Iman, and they had the exact same complaint.Ivoryman wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2023 7:24 am
I must have bought the wrong brand. Stay away from AKC F-16. All hype and wobble. NO tight precision craftsmanship at all. What brand is yours?
They said everything was loose and sloppy with zero precision on the entire knife.
So it's not just you, it's obviously a poorly made knife.

I think someone posted recently that their customer service is terrible too.

This CS, while not a thing of beauty, is rugged, sharp, and heavy. Did I mention it is heavy? When some extra heavy cutting is needed, perhaps on extra thick cardboard or rope for example, this knife will get ur done.

Thanks for the 6292 comment.
I have a Cold Steel AD-10 that was recommended to me, it's pretty heavy as well, built like a tank.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Ahhhh, two witnesses to the problem. Agreed Marco. Well I guess I was fooled by the Italian made part of it. Thought that meant something since I have a few knives from Italy that are slip joints and well made, tight, smooth. But this one's price, I believe $59 tells you about all you need to know about what kind of quality there is in it. Or lack there of. I don't mind a bit of wobble either. As long as it's close to tight I'm able to deal with it and accept that. But this one I have is so loose it's embarrassing and if you wanted to get in a tight spot or narrow spot and needed precision you won't get it with the F-16. Moves like about a quarter of an inch at the tip when deployed. Oh well, you get what you pay for I think in OTF autos. I would tell anyone who's interested to spend your money elsewhere. I would never buy another and am not happy and have a big load of buyers remorse on that one. FWIW.Madmarco wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 7:33 amI recently spoke with someone who had just bought an AKC F-16, Iman, and they had the exact same complaint.

This KA-BAR has been seeing a lot of pocket time lately. Fits nicely in the breast pocket of my bibs.
And yes, most people think it's an adjustable wrench.

Garddogg, get that deer a sheath for that knife. It's going to hurt itself without one!
