Re: BOMBS AWAY!!! THE UN-OFFICIAL OFFICIAL BOMB THREAD
A bomb exploded at my kitchen table yesterday. Waukonda sent me a classic Camillus e/o much to my delight. I just recently remarked that I never met an e/o I didn't like and this one I like exceedingly. It is excelently fitted and I really enjoy the "talk" of this knife, i.e. the beautiful sounding snap of firm springs.
Ike, thank you again. You made my day.

Wow that's a bomb. Love the knife, congrats QS, couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Hope you enjoy that one, we'll enjoy drooling over it when you show it now and then, I hope. Way to go Waukonda, that is a fine drop on QS. Wow, what generosity and kindness. Makes a heart good.

Re: BOMBS AWAY!!! THE UN-OFFICIAL OFFICIAL BOMB THREAD
I recently received two pocket knives that I purchased online. The pocket knife pictured below was included with my purchase. It was completely unexpected, but much appreciated. So, I would like to thank the seller, if he or she happens to read this, for his or her generosity. THANK YOU! It is a BARLOW, two blades, two tang stamps, 2 3/4" closed, one spring, "scrimshaw" handles, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "BARLOW (in a rectangle) (over) USA" The secondary blade front tang stamp says, "STAIN (over) LESS" The main handle side has two images of an American bald eagle. The other handle side has one image of an American bald eagle. The main blade has a soft half stop, with an ok opening and closing snap. The secondary blade also has a soft half stop, with an ok opening and closing snap. This pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. It did NOT require any cleaning. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

Got a box in the mail today from Old Cutler. It was a large box and did not feel at all knifey. Inside was an absolutely beautiful music box he had crafted. I am thrilled. My wife, who usually has no interest in my boxes is also thrilled. Jim is a craftsman and I have been the recipient of several of his wooden works of art. Thank you Jim for a very classic bomb. Actually it is too pretty to be called a bomb.
Thank you Jim for a wonderful example of your thoughtfulness and craftsmanship.

Thanks for all the comments. I called Ellsworth AFB and told them I needed to rent a bomber big enough to drop a piano from high altitude. They let me use a B1 Lancer. lol
Glad you AND the wife like it Floyd.

Re: BOMBS AWAY!!! THE UN-OFFICIAL OFFICIAL BOMB THREAD
As many of you will no doubt remember, recently Kevin (knifeaddict1965) went to the Pigeon Forge knife show (the images he subsequently posted on AAPK of his bountiful haul of beautiful knives are indelibly branded on my brain
). Well, before he left, he very kindly inquired if there was any knife or knives I was looking for and promised to keep an eye out in case he happened upon any at the show.
Of course, anyone who knows me knows there's always a knife or two I'm looking for at any given time. My current focus is on my Queen ACSB collection and I had a particular hankering for a small serpentine jack pattern #2. So, true to his word, ol' Kevin went to the show and not only did he track down a Queen ACSB #2 for me, he got the best looking one I've ever seen
...AND he got it from our our very own Gary Kennedy (Kennedy Knives)
who was kind enough to let it go.
Naturally, when I heard the news of his success I was overjoyed
But then he went one amazing step further refusing to accept reimbursement and he BOMBED me with it
Unbelievable!!!
Here it is (more and better pics will be posted in appropriate threads for more intense viewing pleasure and
)
BUT WAIT....THERE'S MORE...
Yes, as if that weren't more than enough to make my head spin like the Exorcist girl, he dropped yet ANOTHER BOMB on my dizzy head in the form of this 2022 ADE (Annual Dealers Exclusive) Halloween 6207 Mini Trapper with partially serrated "pumpkin carver" master clip blade! WOW! This is a sweet collector piece to add to my 07 collection.
BIG and multiple MAHALOS to you, Kevin. I am totally blown away by these fantastic knives and also by your extreme generosity. You Da Man!

Bravo Kevin, wow what a sweet knife, those scales are fabulous. Very generous of you to give them away to Q too, he's a bomber and what a great gesture right back at him. So cool to see the generosity and thoughtfulness of fellow AAPK buds thinking of others. Makes the heart good.
Congrats Q, that's a killer addition to the ACBS pile.
