Thanks a bunch. I have found good patina comes from cutting up a bunch of salad veggies. Lettuce, broccoli, carrots, peas, onion, calaflower, cellary, cucumber, mushrooms, radish, bell pepper, lime and balsamic vinegrette dressing, sliced red grapes on top.The patina is rich, dark, and thick. Better than a single item. Try it, love to see your results.

I'd love to try the salad you just described, buddy, hold the mushrooms mind you, you've left my mouth watering!

You can my friend, just substitute in another item you like better than the mushrooms. On any given day I might or might not have one or two of these items and maybe have zucchini instead, or some avocado, or something else. It's not a hard and fast recipe, it's a general group that has additions and subtractions given the particular day. But I love to make a big salad and put it in a tuperware in the fridge and eat it for a few days until it turns. Love the stuff. Great patina from it too.

That sure sounds delicious, buddy, I like the idea of making a big bowl to eat over several days. I use to do something similar with fruit, where I'd take 1/2 a dozen large oranges and 1/2 a dozen large grapefruit and spend the time sectioning all of them into a big bowl along with all the juices, add a bit of sweetener then into the fridge to get it nice and cold to be enjoyed over 3 or 4 days, or longer since nothing would go bad. I tried adding apple chunks one time, but they didn't go well with citrus fruit, it wasn't awful just not great like it is with just the O's and G's! I'll have to make that again sometime!
