Magum by Boker Comment

Post by buckkiller58 »

Hello, has anyone ever had any of the magnum by boker line of knives? Never had a boker in my collection and picked this up the other day. Is a large congress and have to say its one of the nicest and best quality knives that i own now! THERE IS NO WAY THAT THIS IS MADE IN CHINA! This one is older but not sure of DOM. Does anyone know is these were ever made in the U.S. If not, These might make me become a little bit of a Trader? Pic dont do justice.

I've had a few of the Boker Magnum line of knives. If I recall correctly, they were made in Tiawan. I always thought they were well made and represented excellent value for what they cost.

I agree with what Phil said. Boker Plus and Boker Magnum are excellent knives. Boker has done a great job on quality control on these. You really would be hard pressed to find a better made knife at the price point and better than many at double to triple that price.
Here is a picture of one I bought as a user and it’s a great knife that can do just about anything you can ask a knife to do. Great smooth deployment and locks up secure. The blade is a bit thicker on the spine and it has great strength, I don’t worry about breaking it when I use it.

I believe some Magnums were made in China some Taiwan.
This one sure looks Chinese.

I also agree that Boker Magnum is an excellent knife at a very good price. Made is China or Taiwan. Not sure which, or possibly both.
The Boker “Arbolito” (Spanish for “little tree“ ) is made in Argentina. Also excellent.

Boker Plus, Anyone’s guess.
Magnum is definitely China
Boker Tree brand is almost always Germany
Boker Arbolito is Argentina.
Too confusing.

I would be REALLY surprised if any Bokers are currently made in the USA, unless possibly fixed blade knives.
