anyone familiar with this brand?

I just got this yesterday for 99 cents. It's an Appalachian Trail auto. I only bid on it because it was 99 cents and no one had bid on it with 10 seconds to go. Anyone have one of these or know anything about the company?

Appalachian trail are (currently) found on the shelves of my local Lowes. Great packaging, flying eagle across mountain peaks, rustic woods pictures. tiny "Made in China" stamp at the bottom.

It's worth 99 cents if you don't use it for anything but a paperweight.

I like keeping an inexpensive knife around for those tasks I don't want to use my "good stuff" on.
