pocket knife id?
I've inherited a few knives and am enjoying learning about pocket knives. Is this a 4 blade stockman? Thank you.

There are some that are "similar" to yours, posted here, in the Colonel Coon subforum.

I would say that's a 4 blade Stockman, even though it doesn't have a Clip blade.

JohnThat is my thoughts, too. It is (in my imagination) Congress blades in a Serpentine frame. Since I am not aware of a unique name for that style, "4 Blade Stockman" is as good a name as any.
Thanks for the confirmation, Reverend. I searched for a 4 blade Colonel Coon but nothing came up. I was also thinking Congress, but they're bow backed. So no clean fit.

A congress pattern has an arched back and at least one sheep foot blade. That Col. Coon lacks the arched back so it's not a congress.
