George Wolstnholm butcher knife.
Looking for some information on an old butcher knife. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hard to tell from your pic but if it says George Wostenholm & Son, that mark is from 1845-1879's. If it's "---Cutlery Co," that one goes back to 1815.
The Wostenholm name was around from 1815-1971 in one form or another. Dating would be difficult. Jim Parker even used the name on some Japanese made copies later than above. That's a great old knife especially the 5-pinned handle.. Age and value hard to say. Post it on the "In the Kitchen" thread here. There are butcher knife collectors that may have more specific info for you. Good luck. J.O'.

I believe I can see "ENGLAND" in that stamp which would put it between 1890 and 1971.
