I-Man, the Camillus Cub Scout knife is a great EDC I have put this one through the ringer and it has come out on top They were costing about $20 a few years ago for a good condition used one. The only downside is ... plastic scales ....

My first knife repair

Got this from everyone's favorite Ebay seller "Dusty Duck Knives". It was pictured with a crack near the pin and when I got it the piece was completely broken off. I busted out the crazy glue and whala - good as new! I think my repair job would make TMK jealous....

I am reading this book, it is about a Vietnam search and rescue attempt when a navigator aboard an EB-66 aircraft shot down behind North Vietnamese lines. It was the "largest, longest, and most complex search-and-rescue" operation during the Vietnam War.

But it doesn't make any sense so far... and Vietnam hasn't even been brought up in the book yet...

There's an older movie with Gene Hackman called "Bat 21", Dog, and it's also about the rescuing of soldiers, you'd prolly like it!

That is a workhorse G.D. Was that made by another company for Keen Kutter? ... I guess I am wondering if it is a Camillus or Schrade produce model...

At any rate that is a top-notch EDC

Thanks for the compliment on my BS (some people get tired of it real quick ) as for "Bat 21" ... If I am at "Bat 6" right now, that means that I have 15 more to go to catch up .... ... That seems like a lot of work...

I hope you had fun at the train show! I always thought model train sets were super cool, but I've never had the space for one.

Thanks, Kim. It's a huge 3 day show with several warehouse type buildings full of vendors and layouts. BTW- I made my layout fit in a 6'X6' foyer. Smaller spaces add to the challenge.
