Is it just the photos or is that one a biggin'? Those are either really small rocks and very small tree stump or that is a very large knife!

I think those are Ostrich eggs, so yes, that is a very large knife!

I am reading this book, it is about a Vietnam search and rescue attempt when a navigator aboard an EB-66 aircraft shot down behind North Vietnamese lines. It was the "largest, longest, and most complex search-and-rescue" operation during the Vietnam War.

But it doesn't make any sense so far... and Vietnam hasn't even been brought up in the book yet...

My first knife repair

Got this from everyone's favorite Ebay seller "Dusty Duck Knives". It was pictured with a crack near the pin and when I got it the piece was completely broken off. I busted out the crazy glue and whala - good as new! I think my repair job would make TMK jealous....

Thanks K.Z. You can fill that crack in (look at the repair thread for more ideas) with epoxy and mixing paint, sawdust, coffee grounds, or whatever you find that matches best to the color of the scales. Let the epoxy mixture run into the crack and wipe away excess... sometimes it looks purdy good! sometimes it looks like... ... Here is a picture of an EDC trapper that I worked on when I 1st started using the epoxy, not the greatest repair (I think I do a better job now) but good enough for EDC use.

Great shot on the wood. Had an old cub scout just like that. Lost it. Great memory though.
