No thanks, dog. But that's a cool picture.

Great picture Floyd. ::tu:: We see tarantulas around here occasionally when they’re crossing one of the roads or around the house. A friend used to keep one as a pet. He kept it in a mayonnaise jar beside his recliner and fed it insects and hamburger meat. When he was watching television he would let it crawl around on him! ::woot::

The oats are starting to show up, left side of picture, the tall junk on the right, needs to be mowed as there should be a good-sized strip of Durana Clover starting to come back from the summer heat:

Cool photos, Ike and Treefarmer.

I have a little more wildlife in my back yard than I want. I just have a little half acre suburban lot - do I really need a sounder of hogs?

These fellows just started showing up a week ago. I am hoping one of the neighbors does something, or I will be getting a crossbow!

Mel, those pigs remind me of Vietnamese pigs. If so, they may be escaped pets.

I figured that they were pot bellied pigs and escaped pets. For one thing, around here, a wild (truly feral) pig is more wary than a deer. These swine, when I try to chase them out of the yard, look at me as if they cannot believe that such cruelty really exists in this world. No one seems to be looking for them, so I am guessing that the owner is done with pigs.

Great series of photos, Garddogg. Looks like a fine meal! By the way, I like the shotgun in your photos. I do not hunt these days, but I like seeing an old time gun like that New England Firearms instead of a five shot auto.
