Very nice GSP, those are great. Love the saw cut colors around the edges. Beautiful hues.

Re: BONES BONES BONES
GSPTOPDOG,
I see your pair of Queens and raise you two more…..
Both mint. I wiped blades down with a rust preventative as I wasn’t sure if they are carbon or stainless. I use Rust Free from AG Russell. Good stuff. Works great and wipes off easily.
I’m not purchasing the “new” made in USA Queens. I tend to think Bear & Son is the maker. I have no issue with Bear as overall they make good knives. I have quite a few Bear knives in my collection. However they could be using parts that are imported. That’s not my issue with them either. My issue is that I like to know what I’m buying !!!
SMKW won’t disclose the parts source or the maker. I don’t doubt that they are excellent quality. In any case, just because they say Queen, they weren’t actually made by Queen. It’s a shame Queen (like many other makers in the USA) have shut down. P.S. I have to agree that the two you posted are beautiful knives !

Maybe Jeff will chime in but it seems like a while back he mentioned shutting it down, then again maybe it was just the news letter and sales side.OSCAR wrote: ↑Sun Oct 08, 2023 11:18 am Seems like Jeffin’s website has been down for about a week. Anyone know what happened ?

Oscar Those are great looking Queens! I went to Titusville in 2014 to visit my mother's old house and some relatives living nearby. I visited The Queen factory (& the GEC factory...I should have bought more there!

Dog, I think they went out of business (like Camillus and others) due to the much cheaper imports that flooded the market. It’s a shame that they are gone. I buy American made, or European when possible. I avoid Amazon, FleaBay, and Walmart as much as possible.GSPTOPDOG wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2023 1:39 amOscar Those are great looking Queens!
