Thanks QS. It's a very nice knife. My mother's favorite color was blue. I was her caregiver for about 18 years., as she had dementia then Alzheimers. She died 9 days shy of her 100th Birthday, and my wife bought that knife for me as a remembrance to her. So needless to say, it has special meaning. She was a pistol! Here's a pic of her at 96 years old!IMG_0002 (8).JPG
I can hardly believe I'm saying this but, I'm finding myself very attracted to your 3-blade Case, Kerry, there's just something about it that speaks to me, and that's coming from a dedicated 1-blade guy, your single blade SAK is much more my style.

I also want to say how much I enjoyed this sentimental post about your Mom, you're a good son for attending to her needs when she needed good people around her the most, plenty of people aren't capable of that kind of dedication.
That's a great picture of her she looks like a sweet old bird, I can only hope to look that good if/when I see 96!
You might want to give serious thought about hanging-on to that better half of yours too, she definitely has your best interests at heart! This might be a good time to count your blessings, brother!

Ahhhh, the good son. Mom must have raised ya right. Make's the heart good.

The Schrade 880 is good for the heart and soul. Still tight after 50-77 years. That is a sign of great manufacturing.

I hope the link is right.

There's nothing that makes a Mama more proud than having a good boy/son/man. It's not that easy. <3

When we DO get it right we are VERY proud. <3

Rightfully so.
Thanks Kim. She did her best with me. I made it hard sometimes! One of my Favorite Skynyrd songs, BTW..

Garry, that's a pretty knife!
If that was a Whitetail buck rather than an elk, it would be even prettier. :)
