The 1950 lockback is a stunner. Other one not too shabby either.

My grandpa traded a guy a knife, and he came home with this old 3904 Winchester. He brought it over to show me yesterday, and I got a few photos of it. I just love old time jig bone.

He certainly has a knack for finding knives, and other knife guys. I'm lucky that he and I share a common interest.

I have also done some buying and trading with your grandpa. Nice guy, sure is a small world.

It certainly is. It's funny to me, no matter where we go (even multiple states away from home) and he always knows someone.chickenman62 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 2:04 am I have also done some buying and trading with your grandpa. Nice guy, sure is a small world.

Well he has dealt with them all . Like the time he ticked James Parker off when he wouldnt trade a Case floor display for a ring!. Like Bob said, I collect knives not jewelry! kinda like chickenman trying to trade chickens for a knife!!!

Hey Rob, I bet you would trade a knife for a pair of large fowl modern games.

Winchester 2877 Muskrat Knife. Took quite a while to find this knife in this condition.

Stunning Muskrat. Nice that at least one was put back and cared for. A survivor.
Re: Show off your Winchester Knives
Picked up an interesting plain bolster Winchester barlow. Winchester barlows are not easy to find in good condition, the plain bolster one is slightly longer, about 1/8" and has a slimmer profile and slightly longer blade. Not sure which is older the plain or the Winchester logo one.

Here is my only Winchester 1997 Red Bone #3908 - I rescued it out of a glass case in a antique/flea market, it was sitting close to an outgassing Remington 2001 or 2002 Bullet. So far it has not shown any signs of contamination.

I do. I had to page back to Page 2 to see the pictures I posted, don't think I have added any since then.
*Edit- I have some Abalone ones as well.
