I was carrying this little Remington I got the other day.

It's a nice, solid knife. ::nod::

Thank you Marco! I'm confused though. The top picture is just the knife, and the bottom pic is the knife in the old sheath.
Whoops! ::dang:: You think you're confused, buddy, imagine how I'm feeling! ::facepalm::
When I viewed your knife I looked harder at the top picture than I did at the bottom one, and as a result I thought the bottom pic was of the knife sitting outside on-top of the sheath even though no blade is showing, which I'm just seeing now, and it was the scuffing on the sheath that looked like wood to me. ::shrug::
Man, I either need to examine pictures closer and more slowly, or stop having my "senior's moments", ::hmm:: and since I'm not getting any younger it'll have to be the former!
So, in an attempt to get this right, "Great work, Kerry, your knife looks teriffic. ::nod:: Personally, from either picture I don't see the wood effect, but I'll certainly take your word for it, well done!" ::handshake::

Thanks Marco. here is an enhanced version to show the wood grain effect I was going after.. In other words, I lightened up the picture a bit..knife me.JPG

Looks fabulous. Beautiful knife and some great work you did on it. A+ ::tu::

This is a EDC for my truck. Made for zippo it has several useful blades plus a grater to make fire kindling and a flint wheel for spark. Its not only possible but probable that it is a Made in China multi. But my truck likes to be well outfitted in case of emergency and a little fire starter could come in handy at some point
