Gary Wright dies
Gary Wright, the " Dream Weaver" has died at age 80 from dementia and Parkinsons disease. I can recall seeing him on the Midnight Special sweating profusely playing his portable keyboard hanging from a neck strap. Anyone remember the show, the Midnight Special? It featured pre recorded video clips by major music artists years before MTV.

OC, You are bringing back old memories!
Dream Weaver came out in 1975, when I was a freshman in HS. It was played on the radio all the time. Used to watch Midnight Special all the time - at least those few times I was home on Saturday night back then! Good memories. May he RIP.

i woke last night to the sound of thunder
how far off i sat and wondered
started humming a song from nineteen sixty two
aint it funny how the night moves

That's bad news. Sat on the front row at his concert back in the 70s. Think he was a two-hit wonder. Don't forget "My Love is Alive"!
