Thank you Marco! I'm confused though. The top picture is just the knife, and the bottom pic is the knife in the old sheath.

Two great patterns there, Geo! Nice!
Thank you. And, I've put together a knife from a blank blade & some curly maple & was pretty happy with the results. I'm sure you had fun. Are you going to make another one?

Thanks Woodwalker. Also, your Sowbelly & Tiny Muskrat looks like something I'd find in my pocket. Or at least I'd like to.

Thanks Geo. I've been trying to get better working on folders lately. I'm also restoring an old Cattaraugus WW2 fixed blade. I may do another build in the future though. It was fun.

Thanks Kev. I like whittlers for sure. This one isn't perfect, so I don't mind carrying it around.

Whoops! ::dang:: You think you're confused, buddy, imagine how I'm feeling! ::facepalm::
When I viewed your knife I looked harder at the top picture than I did at the bottom one, and as a result I thought the bottom pic was of the knife sitting outside on-top of the sheath even though no blade is showing, which I'm just seeing now, and it was the scuffing on the sheath that looked like wood to me. ::shrug::
Man, I either need to examine pictures closer and more slowly, or stop having my "senior's moments", ::hmm:: and since I'm not getting any younger it'll have to be the former!
So, in an attempt to get this right, "Great work, Kerry, your knife looks teriffic. ::nod:: Personally, from either picture I don't see the wood effect, but I'll certainly take your word for it, well done!" ::handshake::

Beautiful pair. Love the bones and the ages patina.

The red shields look great on that kind of bone. Nice pair.
