Pal RH36 Loose Pommel

Post by CarMan »

Need some help. I have had a Pal RH36 for a while and like the knife but the pin holes in the pommel are ovaled out some and allow it to wobble even though I added a piece of leather to the handle. Any of you gurus have a suggestion or know what the pommel is made of? I thought if it is aluminum that I could get it filled & redrill the holes. Maybe I’m making to much of this, I don’t even have a sheath for it. Thanks for any help.

Pommel is zinc. There are thousands and thousands of these knives around, if I didn't like one I'd just buy one I liked.

Pictures might yield a better diagnosis for a fix. ::nod::
