Ha! Good one. I just stumbled upon the Hold Out early this year myself but the series has actually been around for over 10 years. Madmarco has the largest version and it's a monster.

David, I am going to do some research on this knife, my mom was from Titusville, P.A. So I am interested in all knives from that area. Aside from that .... with those awesome scales and sweet blade profile... that baby is about as sweet as it gets! A real head-turner

To the best of my knowledge, there are 3 models of the C/S "Holdout".....H/O III - 7" open.....H/O II - 9" open.....H/O I - 13" open.
Judging by your picture, Rick, I think yours is the III and mine is the I, and mine is slightly longer closed than yours is open!
