Yah, me too, that war has taken some strange directions lately.1967redrider wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 8:03 pmMadmarco wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 7:04 pm I for one don't recall seeing that particular knife prior to now, John, but with knives like that it's always better late than never!
You gotta know I love your knife, and I also appreciate the Birthday plug! I think Mike is involved in some sort of action over there, cuz his last reply to an email I sent him to have "Kimzilla" put on his mailing list, was rushed and seemed quite hurried and he signed-off with "LONG LIVE UKRAINE"! Almost sounds as if he's on the front-line!![]()

Thanks for the update, hope he's doing ok.
JFYI, John, my most recent knife from Mike is currently in Customs and won't be leaving there alive, but Mike offered to issue me a full refund even though I knew the risks going in!
Now that's a stand-up guy!
You likely knew this already yourself, but just in case I thought I'd make you aware of the kind of person you're dealing with!

I love the colors, Smitty!
A similar color is on a knife the Dog posted recently, and I told him it looks like root-beer to me, same as yours!

You're back to basics with those 2 knives, David, and they still look good on you!

Cold Steel Engage 2.5. It's the smallest model in the Engage lineup. The sticky notes are for size reference. It's my first experience with the Atlas lock and the main the reason that I bought the knife. I like it. I think we might start seeing the Atlas lock on a lot more Cold Steel models in the future.
