Premier K78 Solingen

Hello fellow knife enthusiasts. I'm trying to find some information on this particular Premier, and I'm coming up completely empty. Any info on this knife would be appreciated, including what the value might be. Thanks for now

LGIV says the brand originated in Germany 1921 and it was still in business at the time his 4th edition was published. Not a great collectible but would likely be a good user.
If I put it out on my table I'd put $17.50 on it and take what I could get.

Welcome to AAPK. I have not seen one like that before. Nice find! I have a couple stamped K78 that are scout/utility knives but do not have a corkscrew like yours. The company had offices in New York City and Toronto. Premier did not make knives themselves. They were jobbers who had knives made in several countries with the Premier brand stamped on them. A search here on AAPK will find a lot of information about the company and pictures of many of their knives. Here’s a link to one of them viewtopic.php?t=42187

Regarding value, I have a pretty good collection of Premiers, but have never paid more than $20 for one. eBay sold listings is your best source for current values. You may not find sales of the exact same knife but you can find similar items from which you can estimate a value.

Thanks Ken and Ray! I appreciate the responses. I have seen some Scout K78's as well, but like you said Ken, never one with a corkscrew, and never one marked Solingen. I thought maybe, just maybe, it was one of those rare collector knives, but looks like the realist in me, as usual, was correct again haha.
