Continuing on with Phoenix Jacks, there was a run of various acrylic prototypes made, trying out different color combinations. None were ever released as a production run. Here are a handful, and their unique names.
Caramel Frappe (hard to see, there are swirls of light brown running under the surface)

I've got more acrylics to show too. A lot of them are colors that are semi-transparent, and so the nickel liners have a very thin solid white material added, to keep you from seeing through the handle into the liner. Little extra touches that make the knives top notch.

I thought I'd switch gears here and show the 2012 lockbacks made by GEC on the 72 pattern. The burnt stag versions had engraved bolsters done by Oiseau Metal Arts.

Glad you switched gears. That is a pair of fabulouslness. Wow do I love a decades old GEC with stag like that. And KILLER big wide spear. Love those. Congrats. Your collection blows me away about every time you post. Kudos for scoring all these rare beauties. Very impressive.

Was wondering if I would ever get to post any pictures on this thread, and fortunately I had some good luck at the Lexington knife show today and traded for some Tuna Valley, Excelsior, & Titusville knives. It was great to meet and talk with Ryan and the other dealers and work out some deals.

I love the beautiful stag on the Tuna Valley and Titusville. The handle materials on the Excelsiors wouldn't have been my first choice, but they were the only Excelsior's available, and I probably couldn't have afforded them in stag or pearl. My goal today was to walk out with my first Tuna Valley & Excelsior. Never thought I would end up with 4 of these awesome knives plus the beautiful Titusville.

Wow Kevin that's quite a haul! I love the stag on those knives. And the blue coral on the Kraken is pretty unique and eyecatching too. I'm jealous you got to go to the Kentucky show, it is always a good time and a nice location. Wish I could have been there.
